The cottage

Solid oak floors downstairs and luxuriously soft carpets made with pure undyed British wool upstairs. Bedrooms beautifully furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary features, scrumptious feather duvets and pillows and crisp white egyptian cotton bed linen.

Downstairs double bedroom with solid oak king-sized bed and french doors opening onto decking overlooking orchard and kitchen garden. Ensuite with heated stone floor and large ‘wet room’ style shower. Idyllic, light and spacious south-facing sitting / breakfast room.

Upstairs double bedroom with antique French double bed and views over orchard and kitchen garden with rolling hills beyond. Twin bedroom with antique single beds. Bathroom with heated stone floor and cast-iron bateau bath.

Guests to The Cottage can chose between two outside seating areas – a York stone patio at the front of The Cottage or decking overlooking the orchard and kitchen garden at the rear.

Guests are also welcome to explore the kitchen garden with box lined beds of well-tended organic vegetables or visit the chickens and ducks in the orchard or the sheep in one of the three paddocks.
