The Cottage at Lupton House lies in the heart of the South Downs National Park on one of the many lanes which link the rural hamlets that make up the Parish of Froxfield.
The parish’s extensive network of lanes provides excellent cycling routes and walks with access to footpaths over the gently rolling landscape ideal for any country lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Queen Elizabeth Country Park with extensive biking trails and the South Downs Way is within a 10 minute drive.
There are two country pubs within walking distance; The Trooper and The White Horse, known to locals as The Pub with No Name. The Cricketer’s and the Harrow in Steep are within a 5 minutes drive.
The market town of Petersfield is a short drive away with its comprehensive range of restaurants, cafes, shops and facilities and a mainline station to London Waterloo.
The A3 which is 3 miles away provides links to Portsmouth (birth place of Charles Dickens, home of the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and port for ferries to the Isle of Wight) and Guildford. The stunning cathedral cities of Chichester and Winchester are also a 30 minutes’ drive away.
Goodwood, famous for its Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Glorious Goodwood, as well as it's two golf courses is approximately 30 minutes away.
Cowdray Estate, with it's golf, polo, shooting, fly fishing and many interesting events is a 20 minute drive away.
There is plenty to do for families with children as well. Feeding the ducks, playing in the playground or hiring a rowing boat on The Lake at The Heath is Petersfield is always a favourite. The steam railway, The Watercress Line is a 10 minute drive as is Butser Ancient Farm and the award winning beach West Wittering is 40 minutes away.
